Hi Dorrie!
Here are a few more pictures of Addie. She hit 40 pounds
this week, although she has slowed down on her growing a
little bit. She has a new habit of taking all of her food
out of her bowl and dropping it on the floor before she can
eat it (she is a complete nut!) which is okay with me as
long as she cleans up her mess and she gets all the food she
needs in. We are patiently waiting for her to be 18 months
old so she can start running, but until then we are still
enjoying the dog park and walking around on the duke trails!
Hope all your dogs are enjoying the great weather!

Hi Dorrie,
Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that Addie's spay
went fine last wednesday-- she already seems to have
forgotten she had surgery and is back to running around and
chasing her toys all thoughout the house. We got a couple of
inches of snow this morning so today she has been trying to
get outside every possible chance she has to eat the snow.
Here are just a few more pictures for her file! (the first
picture is one of my favorites-- she likes to sit on my bed
and watch the animal planet. She gets very excited when she
hears dogs barking on tv!)

Hi Dorrie,
Just
wanted to give you an update on Addie. She is doing
great! I could not have asked for a better dog! I love
her to death! She has more personality than any puppy I
have ever seen- sometimes I am unable to do any homework
or studying because it is so much fun to watch her play
with her toys. We walk to the dog park every afternoon
when I get home from class, which is by far the
highlight of her day. She LOVES it! We can no longer say
the word "PARK" in everyday conversation because she
will go nuts and run to the door. She gets along with
all dogs- big and small- and will probably play until
her legs fall off if I dont stop her from running too
much.
We are
working on learning to play fetch with a tennis ball-
she chases after the ball but usually forget to bring it
back and runs around with it in her mouth for the next
10 miniutes (with a very proud look on her face!) She
has also recently discovered how to bark and is turning
into an excellent little watch dog with the exception of
when she sees herself in a mirror and thinks there are
lots of little boxers in the house and trys to play with
them.
She is
being spayed next Wednesday morning- hopefully everthing
will turn out fine. She had blood work taken last week
to be sure she is healthy before the surgery and
everything was perfect. As of 5 months she was at 30
pounds exactly.
I hope everything is going well with your
family and your dogs.

Hi Dorrie,
I just
wanted to let you know that Addie is doing great. She
seems to be fine at night, and in her kennel as long as
she can see me in the room. She only starts to cry when
I have to leave (which breaks my heart!) Otherwise she
is very smart and so well behaved! She sleeps on my lap
while i watch TV and has taken over the couch in the
family room. We all love her and I think my parents
wanted to steal her and take her home. Here are a few
pictures you can add to her file on the website. Thanks
again, she is absolutely a little angel!
