Over the years that we
have been breeding and selling our AKC Boxer puppies we
have strived to adopt a "selling plan" which is
feasible and works to everyone's benefit. As a breeder
our goal is to find a loving and caring home for each
and every one of our puppies in a timely manner. At the
same time we understand what it is to be on the other
end of the deal after having been there a few
times ourselves. Whether you are adopting a new
family pet or preparing to enter the world of dog
showing, purchasing an AKC Registered Boxer is an
important investment and it is our goal to make that
investment a worthwhile event with as smooth a
transition as possible for all parties.
As soon as
we know that we are expecting a litter of puppies we
post a "Reserve List" on our website and begin taking
requests for puppies. We accept requests to be put on
our reserve list by email, phone or in person and at
that time you will be sent a puppy application to fill
out and return. The application will help us to gather contact information
and other information which will be helpful to us in
placing the right puppy with the right family.
Ultimately the decision of which puppy goes to which
home is ours to determine and we do reserve the right to
not place a requested puppy in a certain home if we do
not feel it is the best match. Once your name is added
to the Reserve List you are not committed to buy a puppy
nor are we committed to sell a puppy, the list will
assure that you are kept updated on the progress of our
expected litter.
Once
the puppies have arrived we will begin posting photos of the
newly born puppies on the website as soon as possible.
We request that those on the list begin looking at the
puppies to see if there is one that interests them, we
will begin taking requests once the puppies are two
weeks old and priority will be given to those higher on
the list for duplicate requests for the same puppy.
Again, at this time there is no commitment from either
party to buy or sell the puppy being requested. Once the
puppies reach 4 weeks of age we will begin scheduling
visits at our home working from the top of the list
down. Deposits will also be taken at this time, click
here to read about our deposit policy, and you will
receive the deposit/pre-sale contract. At this time both
parties are considered locked into a legal and binding
contract. Cancellation by either party will be subject
to specific consequences,

deposit/pre-sale contract. Once the deposit is made
payments can be made either weekly, bi-weekly or a final
payment may be made at time of pickup,

read our deposit/payment policy. Future visits with your puppy
are welcomed and encouraged whenever possible, we just
request that these are scheduled in advance. We strongly
believe the earlier you begin bonding with your new
puppy the easier the transition will be at pickup time.
We also make every effort to accommodate any special
requests whenever possible, just ask and we'll do our
best to make it happen if it is feasible and in the best
interest of the puppy. Once you have chosen a name for
your new puppy we begin calling him/her by his/her new
name. Over the weeks we also work on kennel training,
feeding, housebreaking, collar and leash training with
each puppy in order to help prepare them for a smooth
transition from our home to yours.
HOMECOMING DAY! At about 6 to 8 weeks old your new
puppy will finally be ready to join his/her new family. When you arrive to take your new puppy home
you will receive your new puppy package and sign the
Bill of Sale & Health Guarantee
contract to finalize the deal. We do request a photo
shot of you and your new puppy to
post on our website. You may want to bring a travel
crate or kennel along to keep your pet safe while
traveling to his/her new home, and/or a leash, collars
are provided for each puppy to go home in. As you head off with your new best
friend in tow you can rest assured and know that
everything possible has been done from day one to make
this new adventure a smooth transition for you and your
puppy. As responsible breeders we have already started
the training processes from the earliest stage in their
lives to help prepare for this day. Your new puppy will
be used to his/her own name, used to wearing a collar and a leash,
used to being contained in a kennel and the beginning
stages of housebreaking. Your puppy will have been
socialized in many various environments both indoors and
outdoors with other dogs and with people of all ages.
Finally,
after you have got home with your new puppy and
adjusted to your new lifestyle, we ask that you take a
moment to email, write or call & let us know how you and
your new friend are doing. We always enjoy receiving
updates on our puppies as time goes on and try to post
all updates on your puppies page in our website. We also
ask that you understand that we take our position as
breeders very seriously and we are always here to help
you with your new puppy any way that we can down the
road. We have helped several families find new
homes for their Webster's Boxer puppies when unforeseen
circumstances have prevented them from keeping their
puppy. We have wept tears and spent hours walking the
streets posting signs in attempt to help find a
lost/stolen puppy. We have even helped find homes for
our puppies' puppies! It's important that our adoptive
families always know and understand that we take an
active part in the entire whelping and breeding process
and each puppy that is born in to our Boxer family is
like one of our own children and grandchildren.
If you are
still interested in adopting a Webster's Boxer puppy and
ready to have your name added to our Puppy Reserve list
you can
email your request.
Thank you,
